ROLE OVERVIEW: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mataora/Registered Clinician to join our team of Mataora. In this role, you will provide clinical oversight, guidance, support, advocate for, and collaborate with our team to foster a culture of healing and resilience among whānau in distress throughout Te Tairawhiti. This is a full-time position, Gisborne and East Coast Communities – Te Tairawhiti. Integrating professional clinical practice with kaupapa Māori approaches, including Mahi a Atua, in alignment with Te Hiringa Matua’s Model of Care. The role aims to deliver culturally responsive, whānau-centered community mental health nursing grounded in Kaupapa Māori principles, supporting Māori individuals, whānau and communities experiencing mental health challenges with holistic, equitable, and culturally safe care.
