About the role:

Te Oranga Hinengaro Kaupapa Maori Community Mental Health & Addiction Services are seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team in Te Puia Springs Hospital.

Providing comprehensive, culturally responsive mental health assessment, treatment, and ongoing support to individuals living within Ngati Porou Oranga boundaries. Deliver whanau-centered care across a range of mental health conditions while working within limited-resource environments and ensuring safe, accessible services for geographically dispersed populations.

Skills/Knowledge / Experience

• Conducting comprehensive mental health and risk assessments with whaiora accessing MH support.
• Develop and implement recovery-focused care plans alongside whaiora & whanau.
• Administering and monitoring psychotropic medications; and providing therapeutic interventions consistent with best practice and evidence-based guidelines.
