Teacher, Greenberg Child Care Center

The Greenberg Child Care Center at Skidmore College invites applications for a full-time 12-month Early Childhood Teacher position working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age in and energetic, physically active environment.

Responsibilities:


+ Supervision of children and providing a safe environment. Provide for the emotional, social, mental and physical needs of the children in care by planning cooperatively with co-workers to develop and carry out a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Provide care and nurturing to all children to create an environment where children feel safe, happy and free to explore and learn.

+ Work cooperatively with co-workers to maintain a clean and organized classroom as well as maintaining other areas throughout the center and the playground.
