Summary Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. Responsibilities Responsible for the origination, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the following types of education programs: Adult Continuing Education, Literacy, General Education Development, English as a Second Language, parting education, Post-Secondary Education, Occupational/Vocational education, special learning needs programs, release readiness, and leisure library and law library. Determines program needs for the total inmate population and is responsible for monitoring the range of programs in both the education and/or recreation areas.
