I’m looking for a German tutor to help me prepare for a pretty big move.
I’m currently a tree surgeon (arborist) in the UK, and my goal is to relocate to Bavaria in about two years to work or do an apprenticeship (Ausbildung) over there.
Because tree surgery is a high-risk job, I really need to focus on practical, site-safe language rather than just textbook scenarios.
I'd love to focus our lessons on:
Vocational German (Fachdeutsch): Learning the specific vocabulary for my trade—things like tools (chainsaws, rigging, climbing gear), tree species, and outdoor safety commands.
Speaking and listening confidence: I'm a bit introverted, so I really want to break the ice with real conversation.
Everyday life: Navigating public transport, housing, and general everyday chat.
