10-month School Calendar Position, Hours Per Day Vary By Location

Duties include, but are not limited to:


+ Assisting the classroom teacher to provide students with rigorous and engaging classroom instruction, project-based learning, and hands-on skills

+ Assisting secondary students in developing appropriate learning attitudes

+ Assisting with adapting educational equipment and materials to best fit the learning style of the individual students

+ Supporting students in progressing with appropriate annual goals throughout the school year (e.g., following directions, safety, getting along with peers/adults)

+ Keeping abreast of changes and developments in the field by attending professional meetings, reading professional journals, and other publications
