We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistant to work in our primary school. The successful candidate will have experience supporting children within the classroom with accessing learning and developing all skills. Experience in delivering small group interventions would also be preferable. St Joseph’s is a supportive and friendly primary school.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Following the direction of the class teacher and SENCO delivering learning and social and emotional
  • Support children to access the curriculum so they make progress with their learning
  • Confident in understanding the different challenges children with additional needs face and have an understanding of strategies which will help them to thrive.
  • Will be empathetic and nurturing.
