Job Summary:
The IR/Special Procedures Tech is responsible for supporting interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, and operating advanced imaging equipment. This role requires collaboration with medical teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing GE Innova and Philips Biplane imaging systems.
  
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment to ensure accurate imaging results.
  
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and ensuring patient comfort.
  
• Document procedures and patient information accurately within Meditech and MAC lab systems.
  
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain sterile conditions during procedures.
  
• Assist in maintaining equipment and supply inventory for the unit.
