Technical Accounting Manager

GCI's Technical Accounting Manager will r esearch technical accounting issues and document conclusions. Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports for the company, SEC, banks, and other regulatory agencies and management. Assist in stock plan administration duties including stock compensation accounting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AT ALL LEVELS:





+ Research applicable literature and write technical accounting memos on complex accounting issues.

+ Monitor the company contracts to ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition.





+ Assist in the preparation of the Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) and provide related support to management, the company, and external auditors related to Forms 10Q and 10K.
