Technical Advisor (Marine Engines)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support related to marine engines, propulsion systems, and associated equipment
• Support pre-sales and post-sales activities with technical input, including specifications, proposals, and solutioning
• Liaise with clients, shipowners, ship managers, and shipyards on technical matters
• Review technical documentation, drawings, manuals, and service reports
• Support commissioning, inspections, maintenance planning, and performance optimisation where required
• Act as a technical bridge between customers, service teams, and OEMs
• Keep updated on industry regulations, technical standards, and new technologies

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Sailing experience as a Marine Engineer or shore-based technical experience in shipping/marine engineering
