Technical Director - Roads

As the Technical Director for Planning & Development team, you will be at the forefront of creating engineering marvels and leading a team of technical experts. You will work closely with the UK Technical Leadership Group (TLG) - UK GCC BU/CC Head, UK Techinal Directors, Project Directors, Project Managers, and Business Development team across the P&C P&D Strategic Business Unit (and wider WSP UK / global business) and will report to Head of P&D GCC.

Your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

+ Leading the technical aspects of road projects for UK market.
+ Developing innovative solutions that push the boundaries of engineering.
+ Provide Engineering support and technical guidance for roads design and associated design activities for UK Development team within.
+ Supervising and monitoring engineers for various surveys and roads designs as required.
+ Ensuring compliance with the relevant UK technical standards (DMRB, MCHW, BS codes, etc....
