Technical Drafter / Estimator

Main Duties and Responsibilities

-Utilizes work orders, sketches, written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements.
-Be able to read and understand technical drawings.
-Generate quotes for customers.
-Advise Customers of Suitable Materials for Projects and Request.
-Understanding the process of sheet metal bending and advising the customer of modifications required to fall within our bending limits.
-Understand and know how to use 2D CAD.
-Liaising with customers to ensure drawings are correct and suitable for manufacturing.
-Process customer drawing requirements as quickly and as accurately as possible.
-Program and maintain current file revisions of all clients’ parts.
-Consult with management and fellow employees to resolve manufacturing problems.
-Handling of all paperwork. (Customer Drawings, Quotes, purchase orders, filling, etc)
