Technical Executive

Job Description:

• Handle allocated vessels for procurement arrangement.
• To work closely with the Superintendent Engineer directly for the procurement and supply of goods and services to vessel/s as assigned by the Procurement Manager.
• To maintain the following:
  • A full record of all requisitions received from the vessels;
  • Coordination with Superintendent Engineer on requisition received from vessels;
  • Initiate enquiries with company approved suppliers;
  • On receipt of quotations make price comparison of the supplier and present the data to Superintendent in-charge for approval;
  • To generate Purchase Orders in the system and send to Supplier and to get their acknowledgement of receipt of order.
  • To arrange dispatch of stores/spares in close coordination with Superintendent Engineer through the most economical way but always keeping in mind urgency of goods required on board.
