Role Overview

The Technical Lead – Connections will act as the technical authority for electricity connections reform across transmission and distribution networks. The role focuses on leading and coordinating technical design, policy translation, and implementation of reforms that support Net Zero and future energy system requirements.

Strategic Leadership

• Act as technical authority for TMO4+ and connections reform.
• Drive alignment between transmission and distribution network operators.
• Provide technical advice to governance groups, industry working groups, and regulatory consultations.
• Support policy and regulatory submissions to Ofgem.
