The main responsibilities are:

  • Architect and maintain robust database solutions across SQL Server and Azure platforms.
  • Design and optimize data models for transactional and analytical workloads.
  • Develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Lead performance tuning efforts including query optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and developers to align database design with business needs.
  • Implement best practices for database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
  • Drive automation initiatives for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and SQL developers.
