                    Citrus Technical Manager
Nelspruit/Limpopo Area (Must be willing to travel)
Market Related Salary (Depending on experience)

Our client in the citrus sector is looking for a Citrus Technical Manager to join their team.

Minimum requirements: 

PhD / Master’s Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Science or related field

Proven expertise in citrus/subtropical propagation, tree crop physiology, phenological stage management, advanced IPDM (e.g., managing phytosanitary risks like FCM, CBS, thrips, or phytophthora), fertigation, and climate/irrigation management

Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in high-value horticultural production systems with a dedicated focus on commercial citrus and/or subtropical tree crop operations

Experience managing multi-site agricultural operations (advantageous)
