Job Description
Due to an upcoming retirement at our Hāwera site, we are searching for someone to join the team and lead our Quality and Technical group.
The Technical Manager is a member of the site leadership team and is responsible for providing oversight and management of our Technical/Compliance team. This role ensures we effectively implement and monitor all food safety and quality programs. The Technical Manager works closely with our Operations teams and MPI to ensure compliance with company, customer, regulatory and overseas market access requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
Develop and champion a team culture that strives to achieve compliance, health and safety, and production targets
- Lead, mentor and build capacity of the Technical/Compliance Team consisting of auditors and quality assurance inspectors.
Facilitate customer audits from a technical aspect and co-ordinate actions required to achieve an acceptable outcome....
