Job Description

Job Purpose
The Technical Officer, Track Renewal is responsible to perform system wide repair, maintenance and replacement of all track components such as rails, switches and crossings so as to support SMRT in providing safe and reliable train service to our commuters.

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of a Technical Officer, Track Renewal are as listed below. Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
Operate an engineering consist (include locomotives), safely and efficiently. 
Comply and execute tasks in accordance to Work Instructions and Procedures.
Comply and exercise safety at all times in accordance to Safety Procedures.
Responsible for the safety of self, peers and the track throughout the working period.
