Responsibilities About the Team The infrastructure team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters as well as vastly distributed global edge networks. To support the fast growth and manage the massive content on the platform, ByteDance's infrastructure team is building hyber-scale datacenters globally which host hundreds of thousands of servers. Responsibilities - Responsible for implementing Security features and deployments to PoP/Edge locations of industry standards - Participate in site selection for new Edge PoPs focusing on datacenter compliance with all relevant security policies and overseeing standards of critical physical infrastructure - Work with capacity planner to ensure network/server capacity for business needs - Drive and manage multiple programs covering a range of areas (PoP, datacenter network & backbone networks, subsea cable networks) with a team of cross functional partners - Design and deliver large-scale network projects...
