Technical Specialist Advisory

Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Global Technology Services in Canada and Globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
Manage patch deferrals and exemptions, including risk assessments and documentation for audit readiness.
Analyze post‑patching results to identify server, agent, or process issues and ensure remediation.
Validate vulnerabilities and false positives (e.g., OpenSSL, Libcurl, SQLite) and track remediation progress.
Monitor and improve vulnerability management tools, including Tenable agent health and ABM tagging.
Oversee and optimize automation of server reboot/start/stop processes to enhance system resiliency.
