Technical Specialist Advisory

Contributes to the overall success of the Global Technology Services in Canada and Globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Manage patch deferrals and exemptions , including risk assessments and documentation for audit readiness.
• Analyze post‑patching results to identify server, agent, or process issues and ensure remediation.
• Validate vulnerabilities and false positives (e.g., OpenSSL, Libcurl, SQLite) and track remediation progress.
• Monitor and improve vulnerability management tools , including Tenable agent health and ABM tagging.
• Oversee and optimize automation of server reboot/start/stop processes to enhance system resiliency.
