Technical Specialist, Application Development

Duties and Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes needs from internal and external business partners (including suppliers and OEM customers) and selects appropriate software solutions and technology to meet business requirements and IT strategies
• Creates specification, diagrams and models to guide custom software development
• Collaborates with system architects, developers, and software vendors to design and develop processes, integrations and technology solutions
• Develops OEM and Supplier mappings in the Seeburger tool to facilitate customer/supplier communications
• Serves as focal point for logging software related issues and registering problems or enhancements
• Manages releases for future upgrades and maintenance and ensures software works properly afterwards
