Summary

The technical specialist engineering class 4 works under the supervisor of an engineer or his delegate. Performs a variety of functions associated with the optical, electrical, electronic, mechanical and/or chemical disciplines. Performs all the following fundamental activities with some involvement in one or more of the related specialized activities under a closer degree of supervision. Where only the fundamental activities are involved, these could be performed under limited control and supervision.
