Technical Specialist

Main Purpose of the Job
Booyco Electronics is seeking a Technical Specialist to provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our electronic safety and control systems used in mining operations. This role ensures system reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction while supporting account managers, technicians, and area teams.
Education, Experience And Competencies
Qualified Artisan (Red Seal) in Electrical, Automotive Electrical, or related trade.
N6 / National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. (Advantage)
3–5 years' technical experience in electronics/electrical systems (mining/heavy industry preferred).
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, reporting) with knowledge of ERP systems.
Strong understanding of electronics, wiring, and mining safety equipment.
Medically fit for site work, with strong English communication skills.
Valid Code 8/10 driver's licence
