The Technical Operator is responsible for the setup, alignment, and maintenance of the Stargate 500P telescope and associated instrumentation, using

advanced automation techniques to capture astronomical images and data. This role ensures optimal telescope function to support observational research projects and

facilitates training workshops and apprenticeship programs for other staff. Additionally, the operator assists with the development of educational materials and provides

technical briefings to local personnel, working flexible hours to meet project demands.

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

-Operate and maintain the Stargate500P telescope, cameras, and other astronomical equipment for observational projects.

-Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop educational and informative materials covering astronomy and various research topics.
