Technical Support Technician: Mechanical

Job description:
This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Provides technical support to the plant to minimise downtime, improve efficiency, and ensure safe operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as per agreed standards.
To provide technical support and maintenance services to the plant machinery.
Maintain equipment and perform engineering inspections.
Perform safety inspections on machine(s)
Ensure engineering standards are maintained.
Set up and adjust machines and equipment.
Generate Job Cards and sign off on the SAP Maintenance System.
Maintain good housekeeping in the workshop and the plant.
Ensure work Permits are obtained and signed off once the job completion.
Must be prepared to work overtime and standby as and when required.
Must be prepared to work shifts as required.
Must have own transport.
