Technical Underwriter (Group Insurance)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Victor . This role will be based in Mississauga, Canada . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Technical Underwriter is responsible for quoting new business, managing monthly in-force renewals, and preparing pricing alternatives for plan design changes. This role supports Sales, Senior Underwriters and leadership by delivering timely, accurate pricing and renewal positions, ensuring sound risk assessment, and maintaining high service levels for internal and external stakeholders.
We will count on you to:

• Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and competitive quotes for new business by analyzing census data, claims history, plan design, and relevant underwriting factors.
• Manage monthly in-force renewals for assigned blocks: calculate renewal positions, post results to internal systems/websites, and escalate anomalies ...
