Technical Writer

Objective of the position
· Creation and updating of customer-oriented technical information documents with a focus on instructions for use and manuals.
· Continuous improvement of processes in this area
Responsibilities
· Carrying out all necessary tasks for the creation and updating of customer-oriented technical information documents like, for example, instructions for use and manuals, from receipt of the order to the finished document in all required languages.
· These tasks include:
o Checking, verifying, and, if necessary, completing the information provided
o Creating content in text and graphics and implementing it in the relevant
documents using the relevant systems (e.g. Schema ST4)
o Initiating and managing associated processes such as translation and release
· Coordinating the necessary tasks, scheduling, and prioritising incoming orders in consultation with interfaces and line managers.
