Technician (Distribution Pipeline Operations & Maintenance)

Carry out repair, operation, maintenance and improvement works to the gas distribution network to enhance the safety and reliability of gas supply in the system. Supervise contractor works to ensure operation and safety requirements are strictly adhered to. Assess site-specific risks and conduct daily toolbox meeting to identify and mitigate safety risks Conduct briefing of Safe Work Procedures for pipe laying, testing and commissioning of gas distribution works. Perform rostered standby duties and respond to network incidents
What You'll Need: NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines Good verbal and written communication skills. Good grasp of using Microsoft applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc. Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude Able to work independently, as well as in a team and in a challenging environment Possess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous
