Technician, I & E (Midland Basin) - Sign-on Bonus - 000GJX Description The I & E Technician modifies, repairs, or overhauls electronic and electrical equipment and controls. Applies knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. *This position includes a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus, as well as other “location” incentives* *7on/7off rotating days/nights 12 hr. shift schedule Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Participates in installing all instrumentation and electrical components safely. + Troubleshoots problems with control systems and complex equipment, gas turbine, generators, and gas chromatography. + Runs conduit, pulls wire, changes motors and maintains lighting systems and basic motor controls. + May maintain, modify and troubleshoot Distributive Control Systems (DCS) and/or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to maximize use of control technology and minimize installation and op...
