Technician, Quay Crane (QC)/ Rubber Tyre Gantry (RTG) Management

Job Summary

Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Quay Crane (QC) / Rubber Tyre Gantry (RTG), ensuring the port equipment are available at optimal performance, cost effective and reliable.

Key Duties

Routine Maintenance and Repair

• Perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on port equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic control systems of cranes and heavy lifting machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in port equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.

Quality and Performance Monitoring

• Verify the quality of work performed by contractors and OEMs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Reduce unplanned maintenance by identifying corrective actions and root causes, applying appropriate technical solutions.
