Technology Engineer

What does a technology and scouting engineer do within Atlas Copco Group research and development teams? How do you contribute to identifying the technologies that will shape future industrial solutions? 

As a technology and scouting engineer, you are involved in early-stage research and technology exploration, evaluating new ideas and emerging technologies that can be developed into next-generation solutions. You contribute to innovation by generating technical insights, supporting systems-level thinking, and translating scientific findings into practical development opportunities. 

In this role, you participate in concept creation, modelling, simulations, and data analysis to identify new opportunities and knowledge gaps within domains such as gas compression, thermal systems, energy recovery, and gas purification technologies.
