Job Summary

Full‑time consultancy position for a Telecom Engineer with over 40 years of industry experience in EPCI communication and IT solutions for Oil & Gas. The role will be based at the Johor Bahru office near the Tuas Checkpoint and will involve working as part of a project engineering department within Semco Maritime’s Technology Solutions team. Only local Malaysian candidates are considered as work pass or visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager/Lead Engineer in smooth running and implementation of the project.
• Design telecommunication systems including Radio Communication Systems, Security Systems, Navigation Aids, and Wired Communication.
• Prepare drawings, specifications for procurement of equipment, detailed system designs with diagrams and schematics.
• Select telecom equipment, develop bulk material listings, and provide input for weight and equipment reports.
