TELECOMMUNICATIONS MECHANIC (TITLE 32)

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TELECOMMUNICATIONS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1588000 and is part of the IL DCSIM, National Guard. Responsibilities As a TELECOMMUNICATIONS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), WG-2502-10, you will repair, maintain and install telecommunications equipment and lines. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Install complicated equipment such as key and single line telephone systems (to include features such as visual and audio signaling, intercommunications, hold, exclusion), private branch automatic exchanges (PBAX), special tape recorder equipment, executive loudspeaker and amplifier conference telephones, fire and special alarm circuits, secretarial answering turrets, and cordless switchboards.
