Telecommunications Specialist (Frequency Manager)

Summary About the Position: Serves as a Staff Action Officer for the DCS, G-6, United States Army Japan (USARJ) and I Corps (Forward), major subordinate commands and tenant organizations, on a variety of Radio Spectrum dependent Information Technology (IT) programs and projects. Responsibilities Assures documents are administratively ready for signature when presented for approval. Assures timely follow-up of all projects and programs for which the incumbent is responsible. Provides authoritative guidance to management staff and other telecommunication specialists and resolve issues involving conflicting requirements. Coordinates and reviews Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) analysis studies to ensure equipment operates in the intended environment Interprets, implements, and provide comments to USARJ Senior leadership on DoD Spectrum Strategy.
