Telemetry Tech

**Position Summary:** The Telemetry Technician performs a variety of technical tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The duties include continuously observing real-time electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) readouts for multiple patients simultaneously. The telemetry technician measures and records data, alerts nursing regarding changes in condition.
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**
**Education:**
+ High school diploma/GED required
+ Associate’s Degree/Clinical Certification preferred or comparable central telemetry experience.
**Certifications:**
+ CPR Required
+ CNA certification preferred
+ Telemetry exam and competency in EKG interpretation must be successfully demonstrated.
**Experience:**
+ Previous experience preferred
