Position Description

A temporary part‑time (0.2) District Diversity Education Support Teacher is required by School District No. 60 (Peace River North) effective September1, 2026 to June30, 2027. As a District Diversity Education Support Teacher, you will collaborate with school communities under the supervision of the Director of Instruction to foster diversity awareness and support inclusive education practices. This role spans across the district and includes duties such as developing programs, facilitating professional growth, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate a network of SOGI representatives across schools to facilitate information exchange and professional growth.
• Assist in the establishment and maintenance of GSAs in schools, offering support to both teachers and students.
• Provide support around UDL and fostering awareness of diversity, equity, and SOGI issues among educators.
