Temporary Academic Support Specialist

One Semester Position: Fall 2026 (August 2026 – December 2026). Temporary Learning Strategists work one-on-one with students who are registered with the Syracuse University Center for Disability Resource office (CDR) and have requested academic support with time management, study strategies, organizational development, content tutoring and note-taking skills.
Integral to all interactions between Learning Strategists and CDR students will be applying strategies that aid in mitigating manifestations of a student's disability and attention to enhancing the critical thinking, goal-setting, and problem-solving skills necessary to maximize the success of students and their academic performance.
