Job Description

Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to work in our Forensic Program. As an RPN, you will provide specialized care to patients with complex mental illnesses by using a recovery‑focused model of care, built upon compassion, inspiration, and hope. You will be an active and equal member of the interprofessional team.

Program Details

The Forensic Program includes:

• Secure Forensic Service – 3 units providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients ordered by the courts or Ontario Review Board (ORB) who require a higher security level.
• General Forensic Service – 3 units providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients ordered by courts or ORB who require a lower security level.
• Forensic Outpatient Service – assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients ordered by the courts or ORB who reside in the community.
