■Identifies public and commercial tender opportunities
■Evaluates tenders regarding feasibility, profitability, legal risks, risk analysis
■Prepares tenders in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
■Is primary contact for the client, internal stakeholders (business fields, finance / controlling / legal departments, decision-making management, etc.) and external partners
■Responsible for bid-writing or for joining a tender team in bid-writing.
■Responsible for the overall bid strategy when appointed as opportunity owner.
■Responsible for meeting all formal requirements and for a timely submission of the offer
■Negotiates or participates in negotiations with clients
■Track and documents tender results
■Responsible for compliance with overarching internal and external processes (e.g. global tender management processes).
