Job Description

Florida Tech's Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is seeking applications for tenure-track faculty positions beginning August 2026. Preference is for the Assistant Professor level, but other levels will be considered. Required qualifications for the position include an earned Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a closely related field. A sincere interest in and dedication to high-quality teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels is essential. Tenure-track candidates also must demonstrate the ability to develop and sustain an active externally-funded research program.

We welcome applicants across cybersecurity and closely related areas. We are especially interested in candidates with applied cybersecurity expertise in one or more of: cloud security, web/application security, cyber-physical/embedded systems, mobile/wireless security, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research.
