Job Description
The NYU Pain Research Center (PRC) and Department of Molecular Pathobiology at the New York University (NYU) Dentistry seeks applications at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor for tenure track research-focused positions in the areas of chronic pain mechanisms, therapeutic management of pain, and related disciplines.
The Department of Molecular Pathobiology has a strong and rapidly expanding research program with substantial support from the National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense, and Foundations. The Department is located in state-of-the-art laboratories in close proximity to the broader NYU research community. Research in the Department focuses on understanding normal human biology and disease through studies of molecules, cells, tissues and systems as well as the engineering aspects of life science and medicine.
