The Department of Philosophy & World Religions at Rowan University is seeking to hire a 10-month, full-time, tenure-track or tenured faculty member with an appointment to begin Sept. 1, 2026. We are specifically interested in candidates who will develop a research program in Biomedical Ethics. A Ph.D. in Philosophy or related field is required. Candidates will be considered at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels.

The successful candidate will have a track record or potential to establish and sustain a strong research program in biomedical ethics, contributing to the development of a research cluster in the medical and health humanities within the Ric Edelman College of Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences.
