Test and Commissioning Technician

Job Summary:

The Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and compliance of elevators and escalators prior to handover. While not primarily tasked with installation, the technician must have sufficient knowledge of installation processes to verify workmanship, identify deficiencies, and perform necessary adjustments and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Commissioning & Inspection

• Conduct pre-dispatch and pre-commissioning inspections of delivered or installed equipment.
• Verify that installation works carried out by installers/foremen conform to manufacturer standards and project specifications.
• Identify deviations, defects, or incomplete works and raise non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Testing & Commissioning

• Perform complete functional and safety testing of elevator and escalator systems (leveling accuracy, door operation, overload, emergen...
