Test Rig Operator Intern

This role is a key part of our Research & Development team. Your work will involve hands-on operation of test rigs, including running experimental cycles, monitoring performance, and accurately recording data. An important aspect of your job will be communicating these results, contributing to data analysis, and actively participating in system improvements. The role also requires mechanical skills for system assembly, such as pipe connections and reactor setup.

Key Responsibilities

Rig Operations & Monitoring

• Operate DAC process units including air handling systems, adsorption/desorption beds, steam supply and vacuum systems.
• Monitor control systems (SCADA) to track cycle performance, pressure, temperature, and flow rates.
• Optimize cycle timing and process parameters to maximize CO₂ capture efficiency.
• Perform routine inspections and record operating data in SCADA and other workbooks.
