Testing Technician

Responsibilities:

• Transport portable testing tools safely between facilities.
• Set up and dismantle analytical equipment at different sites.
• Ensure proper calibration and readiness of instruments before use.
• Conduct purity and contaminant testing of bulk and specialty gases.
• Operate instruments such as GC, MS, FTIR, and moisture/oxygen analysers.
• Record and validate test results against ISO, ASTM, and customer standards.
• Install and secure compression fittings, regulators, and sampling lines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot portable testing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability of instruments.
• Use helium leak detectors: Inficon UL 1000, ASM A390, ULVAC Heliot, and similar models.
• Use trace moisture analyzers: Meeco Tracer, Tiger Optics, DF 745, and equivalents.
