Theatre Orderly NOC

To work as a member of the NOTSSCaN operating theatre team, and to participate in the delivery of patient care while working alongside registered staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and clean environment for the patients throughout the peri‑operative pathway while maintaining the agreed standards.
• Upkeep patient dignity and confidentiality.
• Transport conscious/unconscious patients safely between all acute care areas, anesthetic rooms, theatres, recovery rooms, and treatment rooms such as Radiology, ward treatment rooms, and Endoscopy.
• Assist with safe transfer and positioning of conscious and unconscious patients onto and off the operating table.
• Ensure all areas within the Operating Department are clean and tidy in line with hospital policy and maintain adequate stock levels.
