**Project Summary**:For the Protection of Human Rights Defenders and Journalists (PDP) is a program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
PDP aims to contribute to improving the institutional and operational capacity of governmental and non-governmental actors involved in the protection of human rights defenders and journalists.Through this program, it is intended to support the generation of a safer civic space for the exercise of freedom of expression and the defense of rights.PDP will work through August **** and engages with counterparts and allies at the federal and state levels.
