JOB PURPOSE
An exciting opportunity exists for a world class Third Engineer Officer to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys”. The Third Engineer Officer is required to relief Second Engineer Officer, to perform Engine Whatch/Keeping and responsible for daily maintenance and operations of the engineering and technical aspect of the vessel.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. By mutual arrangement with the Second Engineer, to be on board the vessel at any time the Second Engineer is absent from the ship.
2. Inspects all related works in progress, and on completion, assures that manpower is fully utilized,that work is executed properly in accordance with acceptable standards.
3. During the Watch he/she has to control the proper disposal of all refuse, rags etc. to avoid fire and other hazards during and after work
