Tier 2 NOC Engineer

The Tier 2 NOC Engineer is responsible for proactive monitoring, resolving escalated technical issues, and ensuring uptime of critical network, server, and security infrastructure. This role requires strong hands‑on experience across firewalls, networks, and server systems, as well as the ability to work independently during overnight hours.

Schedule

• Saturday to Wednesday, 6:00 PM PST – 3:00 AM PST, with 1hr break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, and network devices, via NOC tools and dashboards
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 incidents related to:
• Network connectivity issues
• Firewall alerts, routing problems, VPN failures
• Server performance, outages, backup failures, and patching
